Stanton's Shopping Center: A Unique Shopping Experience in Alvin, TX

First time coming here since moving to Alvin 4 months ago, omg I love how small town it feels. The meats are really great priced and delicious. I had the elk n the deer sausage so far and they were both great. My daughter and I bought some Jerky as well and ate at the dinner. Everything was lovely. Will definitely be back.

I recently had two deer processed by Stanton’s Wild Game Processing, and the experience was exceptional. The employees were highly professional and knowledgeable about their services. The turnaround time was prompt and efficient. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and it met my exacting standards. I will undoubtedly be returning for future deer processing needs.

Like stepping back in time (in a good way). A truly unique small home town feel. Excellent store. Excellent meat.

Best meats I had. Their sausages will make your red beans and rice a whole different world in flavor. Their honey is one of the best I’ve tasted. Their gift department is full of unique one of a kind items. Their staff are happy. The main focus I have is all the high quality meats. Try the certified angus steaks. So soft that it makes a high end steak house taste like boot leather. They have rabbit and lamb ribs and fancy pork cuts. They have value bags that can feed a small church! Not kidding.

I agree, it's overpriced to an extent, it's a family owned operation. However, remove expired food and start labeling with expiration dates. Bought a small $10 jar of the raw unfiltered Stanton honey, got it home, and omg its fermented. It's not suitable to eat it without getting food poisoning. I got 6 small children and a tight budget, spent $470 to stock my chest freezer. I admit there alligator sausages are amazing, but wasted $10 on no good honey I could have gotten cheaper elsewhere. I'm now too scared to open the 2 jars of marinating salsa for steaks. I'll be back for meat but no jarred anything, that's for sure.

Stanton’s is a very nice shopping center. The employees are very nice and helpful. The customers who shop there are friendly. Stanton has a variety of different meats. (Alligator, Wild Boar, Elk to name a few). The meat is a little pricey. On the outside Stanton looks like an old establishment but the place is very clean and neat on the inside.

Had the best smoked turkey EVER from Stanton's--tender, juicy, and with a great seasoning. I'd never been to Stanton's before but had heard about the good old-fashioned feel of the store (in a good way). I have had brisket from there before, which was also exceptional. Very friendly staff and great brownies. And a chance to support a store that preserves that small-town feeling with pride going into their product over big chain stores. I'll be going back.
